If you're interested, my novel Supernatural: The Unholy Cause comes out tomorrow. If you're on the fence, check out Liana Bekakos' review here at Eclipse Magazine -- she seemed to dig it...at least enough that she interviewed me at TV.com about all my deep dark secrets.
And if you still don't know if you wanna take the plunge, Fearnet's got a chapter excerpt for you to read. Don't say you weren't warned.

Picked it up on Friday, along with Keith R.A. DeCandido's book. May be a while before I get to them, but looking forward to it!
Read the excerpt. Sounds interesting. May have to pick up a copy. Still have mixed feelings about the show being picked up for a sixth season.
Hi Joe,
Just wanted to let you know that I got your book from Amazon yesterday, and zoomed all the way through in one day. I absolutely LOVED it. Great, fast-moving plot with lots of twists, turns and surprises, interesting OCs, Sam and Dean absolutely spot-on. The whole time I was reading it, I could see happening "live", as if it were an episode. My only regret is that I'm finished reading it - guess I'll have to go back and read it again. :)
Thanks so much for the great, fun read!

I read The Unholy Cause in 2 nights, only because there were so many distractions on those two days. It is by far the best Supernatural novel out there! It took so much effort to tear my eyes away each time I was forced to put it down. So amazing! I love this book. I love your writing. It's just...perfect.
Carol and Anon, thank you so much for your kind words. I can't tell you how much fun I had writing about the Winchesters. As fans, you guys are the ones that I was most hoping to please with this book. Cheers!
Just wanted to add my twopenneth here! I just wanted to congratulate you on your fabulous novel! I'm a die hard Supernatural fan, and while I've enjoyed most of the novels (except maybe the last one!) yours is by far the best of them all! I got the impression you were genuinely interested in the characters and the story you were telling, which is sometimes unusual in tie-in fiction (ahem!)
I don't know whether I'm right, but from your writing at least, you give the impression of having perhaps been a fan of the show before you wrote the novel? If that's not the case, then you certainly had me fooled!
Just wanted to thank you again for a cracking read, and I really hope you write another Supernatural novel!

I just had to thank you for your novel.
The other novels have been good. Not wonderfully good, but okay.
I might have been a bit obsessive by coming to the bookstore when it opened the day the book came out (they hadn't even put it out in the store yet. Had to get it for me)
But I had no high hopes for this book (because of the other supernatural novels). So, imagine my shock when I read your book and it was just great!
You really took the time to write about the characters on the show, which I appreciate. And you did a fantastic job with it.
I was finished the same day it came out. I could not put down that book.
I hope you will write another one one day!

Just finished The Unholy Cause, which was sent to me as a gift by an American Supernatural fan with the inscription "Look! A good SPN Novel. Who would have thought?"
And she's right. You've written Sam and Dean well; your original characters are interesting; and the case itself feels as though it could be an episode.
So, well done and thank you! I hope you write some more for us.
