I've recently taken up target shooting with my personal favorite weapon, the E-11 blaster rifle. What's with all the spare time? Well, for one thing, I've finally turned in my rewrite on the next Star Wars novel...so why not celebrate with a little mall hunt?
In other news, Korpil.net has a new interview with me up here, in Spanish. Here's the English version. There's probably going to be more interviews coming in the next few weeks, with Supernatural: The Unholy Cause coming out next Tuesday. I'll let you know when I find out more.
Also, I hope to be posting the playlist to the new SW book soon. As readers of this blog know, I usually put together a highly unofficial soundtrack to go along with the story, and I'm about half done with that. So, you know...check back.

I am so jazzed to discover your blog, Joe! I admit, I haven't read your books...yet, but I love horror! I'm already a fan of one of your earlist works: Perfectionism; "...nope, no science this year." Again, really glad I stumbled upon this & hope you caught the oratory reference.
My apologies for not reviewing the above post. Earlist should be earliest!
Melinda, great to hear from you. How in the world did you remember that line from the oratory? I haven't thought of it in 25 years...
Joe-ya know, I'm not sure why but you and Steve K. really made a lasting impression on me. I remember his "....we all walk a highwire between tolerance and intolerance..." too. lol I also remember how you'd click your feet together on the science line. Yeah, odd memory I have! Anyway, I didn't mean to violate any blog rules by posting a non-related comment, but I wanted to touch base. Someone had mentioned State Finals & I thought back to you & Steve, so I decided to try and connect. Anyway, to tie this in to your celebrated success....we plan on running out to Barnes & Noble tomorrow to start our collection of your works!!! It's no surprise to me that you've "turned out" so wonderfully. It couldn't have happened to a better person!
