- I'm a novelist, author of CHASING THE DEAD (2006) and EAT THE DARK (2007) from Ballantine/Del Rey. DEATH TROOPERS, my standalone STAR WARS horror novel for Lucasfilm, is coming out in hardcover on October 13th, along with my next original novel, NO DOORS, NO WINDOWS. I've got another Star Wars horror novel due out in 2010 along with a brand spanking new horror novel based on the TV show SUPERNATURAL for DC Comics. Meanwhile I pass the extra hours working the midnight shift as an MRI tech in Hershey, PA. I have two young children who persist in asking me to tell them scary stories and usually let me know when I go too far. THE SCARY PARENT is a place for all the scary stories my kids ask to hear, plus whatever else might be interesting on any given day.

Forget the bagels...I think we're requesting Five Napkin Burgers on your next trip. :-) Could be a bit messy to transport, though. Thinking it would require way more than five napkins!
Then I guess you all had just better come along and eat them on site then, huh? Freshness is key.
